Part of the reason that I do what I do is not only because I enjoy documenting and to help tell the story of a Couple’s Wedding day but it is also to have the pleasure of learning about their love story. I always ask about when they first met, and about their proposal. It tickles me pink to hear all of the chance happenings that turn into two people falling in love. Sia and Jacob’s story has got to be one of my absolute favorites though. Sia was sitting at a stop light on a warm summer day with her windows down when she heard a man’s voice in the car next to hear tell her that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever laid eyes on. She turned to look at him, their eyes locked and it was an instant attraction. The light turned green and she shouted out her phone number as she drove away. Now this is the time when I must point out that no one shows as much determination (and stellar memory skills) as a man who wants to get to know a woman he is interested in. Not only did Jacob manage to hear her number and memorize it on the spot but he persistently contacted her until she agreed to a first date. The rest is history, of course they fell in love, and now are married, here is a little bit of their story……………
